The INR (International Normalised Ratio) is the measurement of prothrombin time (PT) that allows you to evaluate the speed of blood clotting.

Prothrombin is a protein produced by the liver that promotes blood coagulation, which is a very important process for our body because it allows the repair of damaged blood vessels while making sure they continue to function correctly.

It is a screening based on prevention relating to the onset of cardiovascular diseases, such as thrombosis or bruising, which is particularly common in the population and is likely to increase with advancing age.

Description

Postural assessment is carried out using a baropodometric platform, which detects the amount of load exerted on the support points of each foot, and the body’s centre of gravity.

The evaluation consists of a static analysis that defines the characteristics of plantar support (hypo-hyperloads, anteroposterior and latero-lateral displacements) and a dynamic gait analysis (time required to engage/disengage the foot, speed of movement and length of stride).

Analysing the results allows for an investigation into baropodometry, posture and biomechanics. By studying the distribution of body weight, it is possible to identify foot, joint or back problems and make corrections.

Quantitative bone ultrasound is a diagnostic technique that is based on the transmission of high-frequency ultrasound waves, through the mineralised component of the bone. Description

Listen Check valuta eventuali problematiche relative al riconoscimento dei suoni. Il checkup consiste in un autotest, grazie ad un software basato su algoritmi verrà indicato lo stato di normalità o il deficit registrato su orecchio destro e sinistro.

Description

The evaluation of venous insufficiency is a screening process that identifies circulation problems and heaviness in the lower limbs.

Using a reflected light plethysmograph, the time required for blood to fill the calf is measured after a forced movement has caused it to empty.

The elasticity of the venous wall and valve structures is essential if the correct amount of blood is to flow from the periphery to the heart, against the force of gravity. When veins lose elasticity, the blood fails to rise and stagnates in the veins of the legs, predisposing the formation of varicose veins and compromising the health of the lower limbs.

DENTAL CHECK

Evaluation of the morphological and functional alterations of the state of health of the teeth and oral cavity.

Description

Its purpose is to verify the presence of erosive dental disease that could be caused by the reflux of hydrochloric acid from the stomach and/or by incorrect and potentially harmful eating habits that should, if this is the case, be improved as soon as possible.

By “dental erosion”, we mean the deterioration of the hard structure of the tooth, which is caused by chemical processes initiated mainly by the presence of acidic substances inside the mouth, to which mechanical stimuli are also added, such as chewing and the action of the toothbrush; this phenomenon only affects tooth enamel, which is made up of 97% mineral elements and 3% organic elements.

Demineralising enamel loses its structure and becomes damaged, leading to the deterioration of the innermost organic substance, becoming an irreversible process in some cases.
